HeatherRidge has seen its
first Winter-time snowfalls. There are sure to be many more to come.
The December/January
HeatherRidge Happenings will have a couple articles about the salt shortage
and hugely elevated prices for road salt. The Snow Plan is reviewed
and it is important for residents and guests to recognize that we are
operating under changed circumstances. Our labor staff is reduced
during the winter months, seasonal employees cannot be kept year round.
Our full-time staff is experienced in handling severe weather
professionally but we do not have Landscape and Maintenance staff to work 24-hours a
day, 7-days a week. We ask residents to be considerate winter drivers, we
will not have the abundance of salt for roadways this year. All
municipalities and state agencies are experiencing the same reduced supply
and exorbitant pricing.
A HUGE THANK-YOU
to our own Landscape Department for designing and installing our Holiday
Decorations. The Village of Gurnee has awarded HeatherRidge the Winter
Holiday Neighborhood/HOA Award for the 2008 season for the beautiful (and
ecologically/energy-wise) display at our main entrance at HeatherRidge
Drive.

HeatherRidge, an established community on 370 acres of gently
rolling hills that was once the Spinney Run Dairy Farm in Gurnee, Illinois,
is situated northwest of the intersection of Route 120 and Milwaukee Road
with easy access to Interstate 94.

A community of 956 townhomes, mid-rise condominiums, single family homes
and duplexes, there are eight separate residential associations and an
umbrella (or master) association.

Amenities include four recreation centers, four swimming pools, six
tennis courts, a playground, walking paths, numerous ponds, open greenways,
and twelve acres of natural woodlands.

HeatherRidge is the home of one of northern Illinois' favorite 9-hole
Golf Courses.

HUA & Homeowner Residential Assessment
Information

HeatherRidge Umbrella Association is remitted a portion of your monthly
homeowner assessment. This part of your assessment maintains the
Landscape/Maintenance/Security and Administration Departments. A
portion also goes into a capital reserve fund that rebuilds and
maintains the aging property and amenities, keeping HeatherRidge
beautiful and safe. This document explains with
further detail.

HUA & Homeowner Residential Association
Information

The HeatherRidge Umbrella Association is a Master Association serving all
neighborhoods, all common elements, recreation centers, all shared
amenities. The Homeowner Residential Association for each
neighborhood deals with the physical residence and usually utilities and
other issues directly related to the private home within the
neighborhood. This document explains with
further detail.
